The Octave 8' and Bourdon 8' in the Pedal are octave transmissions of the Principal
16' and the Subbass 16'. All other stops are independent. Mechanical key action, suspended, self-compensating for seasonal changes. Mechanical stop action. Normal couplers. 58 note keyboards and 30 note pedalboard. Pipes made of a 97% lead-tin alloy. Free-standing case of cherry wood in mortise and tenon construction. For maximum tuning stability, open pipes are trimmed to exact length and cone tuned, the stopped pipes begin provided with soldered-on caps. Weight of the instrument: approximately 8 tons. |
