Dr. Robert Bates
Dr. Robert Bates, a prize-winning organist and composer, is Associate Professor of Music at the Moores School of Music, the University of Houston. A sought after recitalist and recording artist, Dr. Bates has performed solo recitals at many universities, concert halls and churches around the world. His specialty is in the performance of the early organ music of France and Spain, as well as twentieth-century music, including his own. He is represented by Penny Lorenz Artist Management.

Daryl Robinson, Organist of Houston's South Main Baptist Church since 2003, has performed throughout the United States and in England, France, Hungary, Austria, and the Czech Republic. A student of Robert Bates, Matthew Dirst, Joby Bell and Jo Deen Blaine Davis, he was awarded a scholarship to the 2007 Summer Institute for French Organ Studies and won top prizes in repertory and hymn playing in the 2009 William C. Hall Organ Competition. A recent graduate of the University of Houston, he served as collaborative keyboard artist for the Moores School Concert Chorale and the Texas Music Festival.
